  • Acceptable Similarity Index: Manuscripts submitted to The Scholars Time must have a similarity index below 10%, as per UGC guidelines. This includes all text, tables, figures, and other content within the manuscript.

  • Pre-submission Check: Authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection software to check their manuscripts for similarity before submission. This helps ensure compliance with our plagiarism policy and avoid unnecessary delays in the review process.

  • Initial Screening: Upon submission, all manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using reputable plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 10% will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright.

  • Proper Citation: Authors must properly cite all sources, including ideas, data, and text, that are not their own. Direct quotes must be clearly identified and cited according to APA style guidelines.

  • Consequences of Plagiarism: If plagiarism is detected at any stage—before or after publication—the manuscript will be rejected or retracted, and the authors may be banned from submitting future work to the journal. The incident may also be reported to the authors' affiliated institutions.

  • Ethical Responsibility: All authors listed on a manuscript are responsible for ensuring the integrity of the research and the accuracy of the content. By submitting a manuscript to The Scholars Time, authors affirm that their work is original and complies with the journal's plagiarism policy.
