Abstract:
In this research, the scholarly literature on the factors influencing the efficiency of the Indian capital market is bibliometrically analyzed. Using quantitative techniques, this study pinpoints important research patterns, significant writers, ground-breaking works, and cooperative networks in this particular field. The analysis attempts to give a structured overview of the research landscape utilizing data from important academic databases such as Openalex. The results indicate a notable emphasis on macroeconomic factors. Along with outlining a roadmap for future research initiatives, the paper also notes research gaps, such as the need for more thorough behavioral finance studies and sector-specific evaluations.
