Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing sports and health sciences by enhancing performance, injury prevention, diagnostics, and rehabilitation. AI-driven wearable devices and machine learning models analyse athletes biomechanics, optimizing training and predicting injuries. In healthcare, AI-powered algorithms improve diagnostics, personalize treatment plans, and aid mental health assessment. Despite these advancements, challenges such as data privacy, over-reliance on AI, and accessibility disparities must be addressed. This article explores AIs applications, benefits, challenges, and future directions in these fields, emphasizing the need for a balanced integration of human expertise and AI-driven insights.
